finally, a holiday. off from work. and so happened sis has off too :D

so yesterday we went out and ate at delicious in bangsar village. the chocolate brownies with vanilla ice-cream and melted chocolate all over the plate. took a photo of it but somehow, it always look like well... not nice cuz it is all brown and black... even the ice-cream is covered with chocolate syrup and the chocolate syrup does not taste like those cheap chocolates. so it was worth it ;p

the only problem was... it is too sweet that after a few bites, my sis and i just cannot stuff in anymore. too sweet~~~ i think 3 people would be good. maybe 4...

then we went shopping ;p i really like those boutique there, the atmosphere. not sure it is italian or french songs. very nice soothing songs. if you know, please tell me!!! and while my sis was trying on something, i saw the perfect shoes. wait. THE PERFECT SHOE. for all occasions. it is soft and nice. but as usual, no size... cuz apparently the sales for this shoe is not very good. pK has weird tastes, thank you very much. and i tried on the model runway's heels too. perfect fit. damn, i am size 10!

bought nothing.

then went to 1U, sam's second home, and walked around. there was this people in a shop that makes us think that they are from SG ;p shall not comment anymore ;p

went for sushi with my sis. yes, sushi. but not necessarily eat sushi, right? but i tasted one sushi that is nice, well, not bad. i think it has the eggs on top. fish eggs. only that is good. i should not order anything with rice. cuz eating too much of their rice makes me feel funny inside. seems that i am not used to it.

bought two shirts, but i still cannot find a replacement to my yellow shirt :( and an extremely cute pair of shoes :D happey~~~

today is my last day of off. sigh. back to a long long day on wed and sat... all thanks to the free trial! :(

ps : please do not waste your money in the cinema watching made of honor and over her dead body, although i think the latter is not showing anymore. not worth it. save up for something like the dark knight! :D

took a photo last saturday but i did not realize that sis's camera was in video mode. the scenery was outside my house but it was so beautiful. one of the best of my evening photo :(

if only i had put it in camera mode.

Instant Pancake

Pillsbury 3-steps pancake is so simple. just add water or milk and then you beat it and cook it. it is really that simple.

somehow, i managed to make mini roti canai or prata out of it :D





this is the most pancake looking pancake. sigh...

ps : this post was meant to be on 20080416. so much for saving drafts.

i cook lunch for family :D porridge [first time] with potato, carrot and minced meat + fish sauce which i was supposed to use oyster sauce soy sauce actually. no wonder mom gave me that look...

dad : nice. very natural... no msg, no salt, no chicken cube :D

mom : you sure like that a?

sis : [eat many many bowls while watching august's seventh day or is it july's eight day?] some chinese drama :D

but it was meant for sick people... :(


reminder.

enoki mushroom aka the long long white mushroom : "ideally, it should be oyster sauce and fish sauce, care not to put too much salt and fish sauce." [th]

th : must find the RIGHT oyster sauce!!! [hope it is stressful enough]

porridge : it WILL overflow. check it!!! and put potato and carrot first. when the rice is 'opened' [mom], then put meat.

blog about tony roma's. nothing special actually. went with bh, xl, ry, zc and th. although heard much about the award winnig ribs, it taste like normal. really. in fact if you were to go, i will suggest you eat the 4 sauces rib. at least you won't feel like throwing up cuz eating the same taste again and again. a half slab should be enough cuz regular is really quite filling. furthermore, it feels like they just put the sauce on top and serve. really nothing extremely cool to say about but the best thing there is the mashed potato! really! with cheese and bacon and spring onions but i take out the spring onion. when you mix them up and eat.. sigh.. the baked potato is good too. i think if i go again, i will drag someone along and order 4 sauces with baked and mashed potato and share! haha. the best part was the 15% discount if your birthday is in november! yay! that shall cover the gst + service charge. meanwhile i shall keep off pork for a while. too much of it!

econs over and left two more papers. and slacking already. not like i was not slacking during the exams but the questions are really creative. and scary but it's over. so lets not think about it. i am more worried about gp.. sigh.

mood extremely bad these few days.. sigh.

i did it!!! yea! my long time plan. at last! hint : it involves secret :D nope, not the original movie or soundtrack. hehe. basically wasted one whole night with it.

ps : nope, i am not going to tell what it is! :D secret.

there were some new people a few days ago. all of them look so young and happy. like they are full of hope i guess. sort of pity them cuz they still have no idea what hit them and these people are trying to disillusion them so that they will think that it is good to be here. wait a while more... sigh... i feel so evil. but these kind of thing, they have to experience themselves. maybe they are really smart and capable, unlike some lost sheep here... :p

anyway, bus ticket increased price!!! how can a 2% increase lead to 10% increase in the freaking price! cheating! never mind...

nowadays getting hungry at midnight. just down a maggi tom yam soup yesterday! oh, there is a way to cook it so that it will be superb! learnt it from ps and improvised! haha. not really. but it was great. here's the trick. if you add too much water, it'll taste like so kind of diluted-not-spicy-water. so, you must add very little water. like kuah that you can barely drink. and of course, you should not drink cuz it will taste like some concentrated-msg. so, you add a little water and the whole packet of rempah and slurp all the way! ok, i am getting hungry... T.T btw, you add the rempah after you boil it. then you throw the water away and add new hot water. and the the rempah :D

still very addicted to facebook. addicted to betting on my beautiful-adorable-cute-sweet
-kissable-pokable zlaugh. erm, don't ask, if you are my friend in facebook, you will know. but i keep losing money T.T never mind.

btw, have any idea what xiao hao means? supposed to be my dog's name...
